Quilt: Mini Iron Caddy
 
Description:
A clever iron tote and ironing pad in one! Just unbutton the buttons on the front and back and your tote opens up to be your own personal ironing pad. This Caddy sews up so fast and will be a sewing retreat staple!

Fabric Requirements: 
Fat Quarter friendly.
You’ll need at least 15 x 18 inches for the iron exterior and a 2.5 by width of fabric strip for the handles, as well as about ¼ yard of a contrasting fabric to make the binding.
You will need a 14 ½ x 18 ½ inch piece of heat resistant ironing board fabric (which usually comes with the pattern) as well as TWO 14 ½ x 18 ½ inch pieces of Insul-Bright or Cotton Batting.
Finally, you need 6 inches of ¼” elastic and two pretty buttons (shank work best!)

Finished project size:   Big enough to hold a traveling Iron.
