Colored solids or prints that read as a solid: (27) 10-inch squaresTwo to six shades of each of eight main colors in lights, mediums, darks, about 2 yards total. The samples above used 6 blues, 2 blue-greens, 3 greens, 4 yellows, 3 oranges, 2 reds, 5 pinks, 2 purples.
Background: 2 yards (silver, black or white to provide contrast)
Border (optional): 1 yard (may be the same as background)
Binding: 5/8 yard
 
Finished project size:   63” x 63” lap quilt or large wall hanging.
